From Knocking on Doors to Growing Dreams
It Started with a Simple Goal
At 13 years old, I started knocking on doors in my neighborhood—not to sell cookies or magazines, but to offer something different: lawn care. My goal was simple: make some extra money for movie nights with my friends. I had no fancy equipment, no business plan, just a willingness to work hard and a push mower I borrowed from my dad.
What I didn't realize then was that I was building something much bigger than weekend spending money. I was learning the value of honest work, customer service, and the satisfaction that comes from transforming an overgrown yard into something beautiful.
The Grind That Built the Dream
Through junior high and high school, I kept grinding. Every weekend, every summer, I was out there—pushing that mower, saving up every dollar. My friends were hanging out at the mall or playing video games, and I was building a business, one lawn at a time.
The goal became clear: save enough to buy my dream truck. Not just any truck, but the truck that would let me haul professional equipment, take on bigger jobs, and turn this side hustle into something real. After years of early mornings, hot Texas summers, and countless lawns, I finally did it. I bought that truck, and Bears Lawn and Landscape was officially born.
From Hustle to Passion
What started as a hustle became a passion. I fell in love with the art of landscaping—the way a perfectly edged lawn can transform a property, how fresh mulch and thoughtful plantings can make a house feel like a home, and the pride that comes from seeing a customer smile when they see their yard looking its absolute best.
Landscaping isn't just about cutting grass. It's about craftsmanship, attention to detail, and building relationships with the people and communities we serve. Every property we maintain, from residential homes in Wylie to commercial properties like Sachse Plaza, gets the same level of care and dedication that I brought to that very first lawn at 13 years old.

Today, I'm proud to share my journey and continue growing this business—one lawn at a time. We've expanded from that single push mower to professional-grade equipment, from one neighborhood to serving all of Collin County, and from residential yards to commercial properties.
